I have a beautiful balcony here overlooking a bubbling creek and waterfall that is perfect to read by. However, my allergies are so severe right now, I'm miserable after a few moments outdoors and it lingers with me long after I come inside. Boo on allergies.

Getting Organized
I continually struggle to find a organizing system that works for me. I've bought planner after planner - Franklin Covey, Day Planner. I've gone paperless with Sony Clie, Zire, and I currently own a Red Blackberry Pearl (which I love). But not for organizing. I love email access 24/7. I've learned that I work best … Continue reading Getting Organized
Vacation
I am on vacation this week. A real vacation. Every year for my birthday, my parents give me time away by myself and it has become something I very much look forward to. This year I have a few more days than normal and it has allowed me to relax without feeling the rush to … Continue reading Vacation
Updates
Its been a very busy weekend and week. I had meetings Friday night and all day Saturday. Sunday was our Summer Missions Celebration. It was a great worship service and the personal stories were wonderful. Sunday night was our first Chi Alpha (youth worship gathering) of the school year. Movie Recommendation
A week or so ago I watched the movie The Painted Veil and it became one of my favorite films. It is an incredibly powerful story of forgiveness and restoration. It has some amazing scenes that would preach. Great cast, great story, amazing scenery. Kitty Garstin (Naomi Watts) is a pretty, shallow young woman from … Continue reading Movie Recommendation
Hello RevGals
Thanks for the official welcome back to RevGals! I've missed my cohorts in ministry. It has been good to see that many of you have passed by my site. I took a break from blogging for quite sometime. I had difficulty finding my voice for several months. Life quieted me and the opportunity to blog … Continue reading Hello RevGals
Weekend Update
This weekend was the first "me-weekend" I've had in a long time! Nearly the whole summer, I think. I spent Friday night with friends enjoying dinner and a movie. Today I slept in (hallelujah), cleaned some, recycled my overflowing bins, got groceries and helped my sister with some projects as she prepares for the start … Continue reading Weekend Update
Going Green One Bag at a Time
I purchased my new hemp grocery bags today! I'm excited for them to arrive and to release me from the large amounts of plastic grocery bags I receive while grocery shopping. Yes, some money up-front but over the long haul our world will be a little bit better place. By no means have I overhauled … Continue reading Going Green One Bag at a Time
Travels
I had vacation time this past week and was able to spend some time with friends. I spent a few days at Windermere with my friend, Marcia. We had a great time just catching up on life and sitting by the pool. Then I went on to Springfield to spend time with my friend, Kailey … Continue reading Travels
Scrapbook Confession
I'm scrapbooking. Telling you this feels like I'm confessing that I still suck my thumb under the cover of night. Which I don't. Unless highly stressed. But still... I feel like I'm betraying my childhood covenant to "Tom-boy-ish-ness". Scrapbooking seems so wrong; so feminent; so, so, so ... crafty. But I have a nephew and … Continue reading Scrapbook Confession
